Huntsville Police have arrested 23-year-old Ty’Quavian Quentez Daniel on charges of sexual extortion and electronic solicitation of a child following an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) investigation. According to authorities, on Saturday, October 1, investigators received an ICAC tip regarding a potential online predator. The investigation led detectives to identify Daniel as the primary suspect. Police reports state that Daniel contacted a 16-year-old victim from Humble, Texas, through Instagram, where he allegedly requested explicit photos.

Following weeks of investigation, Huntsville Police located Daniel and took him into custody on Friday, November 7, at approximately 5:55 a.m. He was booked on charges of sexual extortion and child solicitation through electronic communication. Officials confirmed that the case is still active, and investigators are reviewing evidence to determine whether further charges may be filed.

Authorities also encouraged parents and guardians to monitor their children’s online interactions and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement. Huntsville Police emphasized their ongoing commitment to protecting minors from online predators and reminded the public that digital platforms are frequently used to target vulnerable users.
